This site is intended to provide some quick reference guidelines, and to point you in the right direction in terms of resources and services.
Data Backup
Backup is often defined as "the copying of data for the purpose of having a second copy of an original source, in case of damage to the original data source". It's a simple concept of course, but can be time consuming and a burden. Hence, it is too often either ignored, or done insufficiently regularly.

What is Business Continuity
Planning? Wikipedia describes it as: "a methodology to create a plan for how an organization will resume partially or completely interrupted critical function(s) within a predetermined time after a disaster or disruption."
Essentially this boils down to the creation of a Business Continuity Plan (sometimes called a BCP, or Disaster Recovery Plan).
